A famous client of mine recently lost twenty five pounds in the last five weeks on a fantastic diet that includes only small amounts of lean meat protein and unlimited low carbohydrate vegetables with four meals a day.

He looks at least ten years younger and feels like a new man. Here is a recipe for one of the vegetable side dishes I made that was super delicious!!!

Mashed Cailiflower with Garlic and Turkey Bacon Bits.

It was SO good that I could not believe it could help with weight loss but it does and without the inflammatory effects of dairy products. Here is what you will need . . .

2 heads of Organic Cauliflower
4 cloves of Garlic
4 Slices of Nitrite Free Turkey Bacon Cooked and Diced
1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Low Sodium Organic Free Range Chicken Broth
Sea Salt and Pepper to Taste

Cut cauliflower into florets and steam or boil if you do not have a steamer. Meanwhile, cook the bacon according to package directions. Using a garlic press, mash the garlic into a small prep bowl and cover with the olive oil. When the cauliflower is tender, drain it in a colander then return to the pot you steamed it in. Add bacon bits, garlic infused in olive oil, salt, pepper, and about a quarter cup of chicken broth.

Using the Masha in an up and down motion, mash the cauliflower mixture until well blended. Add additional chicken broth if it’s too dry. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve.

Makes about 8 servings
