I was asked to make up a new cheese spread recipe for a wine tasting event at this wonderful wine bar and restaurant in Reno, Nevada called Napa Sonoma. Anyone that knows me is familiar with the fact that I am both lactose intolerant and allergic to dairy products BUT, they also know that I love two cheeses in particular – goat cheese and brie. So, I thought, hmmmm . . . let’s make up something with creamy, delicious goat cheese!

This recipe meets the sweet with the savory just beautifully. It is a wonderful addition to crackers, bagel chips, crostini, French bread or vegetables like carrot sticks, celery sticks or cucumber rounds. It’s a real crowd pleaser.
I would not want to mixt it with any other tool than the Masha. It mixed it perfectly and with zero effort. It also blends the ingredients through the recipe with ease and perfection.

Open the packages of goat cheese (chevre) and place them in a mixing bowl. Chop the chives into small pieces. Pinch the fresh thyme leaves off of their stems and chop them into fine pieces. Measure the balsamic vinegar and the raspberry fruit spread into a bowl and use the Masha in an up and down motion to blend ingredients perfectly and effortlessly.
