Parental Narcissistic Abuse Recovery

Holistic solutions that will finally free your mind and body from the critical, shaming, narcissistic parent who programmed you to believe you’re not enough, you never get it right, and you don’t matter.

If you don’t choose to heal in mind, body, and soul, things will only get worse. If you’re a sensitive, scapegoated ACON (adult child of a narcissist) you know exactly what I am talking about.

You can’t heal the complex trauma caused by narcissistic abuse with your head alone. That’s where the insidious self-critical voice of your narcissistic parent constantly spins, keeping you stuck and isolated.

The Shift Network recognizes me as a world leader in holistically healing the wounds caused by parental narcissistic abuse and toxic families. While my doctorate is important, what makes my work profoundly transformative is the fact that I have been there too.

Being narcissistically, physically, and SA as a child made me sick with over a dozen illnesses, chronically depressed, suicidal, and feeling worthless. Holistic healing using food and the power of the mind and heart healed these illnesses and the traumas of drowning as a child and being struck by lightning in my forties.

You need a process that goes deep into the subconscious mind and body to help you eradicate the programmed lies that tell you that you’re a bad person, you never get it right, and you don’t matter.

There is pathway between who you were programmed to think you are by your narcissistic parent and who you really are – who you were always meant to be. This is the path I walk people along to seek the freedom that comes from living an authentic life that only you can live.

“I am so very grateful for Dr. Meg! She has been a big part of my healing journey. I was raised by a narcissist, was married to one, and have also been a witness to my daughter’s marriage to a narcissist, so I had a lot of abuse to heal. Dr. Meg is warm, compassionate and very knowledgeable about the effects that narcissist abuse has on us ACONS. I resonated with her approach and her use of the Whole Person Integration Process, which I found to be very healing and revealing as well. I worked with Dr. Meg 1-1 for over 6 months, and I noticed a tremendous shift in my perceptions of both myself, and others. I was also able to release a bad habit of drinking a bottle of wine daily, as I didn’t feel the need to medicate myself anymore. Many of the wounds inside have been healed, and I felt lighter and more forgiving of both myself, and others. I am forever grateful to have encountered Dr. Meg and to have had the privilege to work with her on my healing journey. I will miss our weekly sessions!”

The old way of sitting on the therapist’s sofa, repeatedly sharing every tragic story you’ve been through no longer works. Therapists that tell you that you need to forgive your parent because they did the best they could, may do more harm than good. This thinking places you squarely inside the shame of being blamed for every little thing that went wrong, keeping the trauma alive in your body.

You won’t get that here.

The hopelessness that comes from not being seen or heard must become old news for you to heal. You need to be met with empathy that says I see you. I hear you and I have been there too.

You need a soft place to land. A safe space to be held so that you can embrace the true self so you can literally go singing down the road as you exclaim “I love myself! I am so proud of who I have become”, like many of my clients do.

My proprietary process, Whole Person Integration Technique is exactly what you need to release yourself in body and soul from the programs that your narcissistic parents installed in you and are still reinforcing today.

Like a cult leader, your parent has worn you down one criticism at a time until you believed that you’re never going to measure up, you don’t matter and that everyone else is more important than you.

They did this for one reason – so they could control you.

“Working with Dr. Meg has been the best decision I could have made for my healing from parental narcissistic abuse. She took the time to speak with me before we worked together, which sealed the deal for me. She saw me, heard me, and allowed me to be myself on all levels – mentally, emotionally, and spiritually because she had been through it too. I now feel so much more released from the critical voice of my narcissistic parent and the ways I turned it inward on myself. I learned so much, became more expansive, understanding, compassionate, and I dramatically changed how I blame myself for everyone else’s behaviors. On top of that, she gave me some great nutrition advice too! I knew intuitively to hire her. If you’re feeling the same, follow that. You won’t regret it!”

When you let go of these programs and the negative emotions that drive them, you can embrace your true self, restore your energy and be the person you were always meant to be.

This is the way to heal for sensitive, empathic ACONs who have been conned by their own parents. Become the ICON in your own life – Independent, Confident, Original and Naturally YOU!

If you are done trying to understand your narcissistic parent and ready to remove them from your mind and body, the next step is to speak with me.

On that call, we will identify exactly where the entanglement is still operating in your energy system and what it would take to free you.

Not someday, but now.

Maybe food is just one piece of the puzzle in your health mystery.

Perhaps you’re just learning that your history of abuse can affect your physical body.

Your thoughts, feelings and choices can be making you sick. This could be just what you need to fix to gain the freedom you’ve been looking for. Freedom from a history you know deep down is holding you back in your health, relationships, and life.

Sexual, physical. And emotional violation is debilitating. It can lead to unhealthy choices, poor personal boundaries and self-defeating patterns. All these things get stored in your body as memories that create pain and difficulties.

The truth is; The body always remembers what you’re trying to forget.

“Dr Meg has changed my life. I suffered a lot of trauma growing up that severely impacted my emotional and physical well-being. I had tried traditional therapy in the past, it did not get me where I really needed to be. After giving up for decades, she was the only one who really helped me find and release the trauma for good. This type of therapy is not about talking through trauma, it is about finding where it is lodged in your physical body and setting it free using the power of visualization. It has been transformative in ways I did not think were possible. Dr. Meg is also an incredibly kind, smart, and wise person who truly cares about you and your healing. She is a gift to work with.”
